Rustic oak cladding transforms bathroom. January 3, 2017 Russell Peskett Here we have some beautiful rustic air dried oak cladding used to finish a lovely contemporary bathroom. The oak is very seasoned so stable when installed. We cut the cladding at 12mm thick from some rustic 100mm oak beams. The cladding is then sticked and stacked to settle. The client installed the cladding to the bath and the sink unit with visible screws. The section for the sink is a single 50mm x 400mm x 300mm slab. The finish is danish oil with sealant. The room has striking chrome fittings and we feel our oak has really complemented how fresh everything looks. As you can see the finished job is truly beautiful and both the client and ourselves were extremely happy with the outcome.Air dried oak cladding rustic or fresh is perfect for internal rooms but also great for mock Tudor external cladding, or in fact any type of external cladding. If you have any questions about internal or external oak cladding. How and where to use it or how to install. Please feel free to contact us.
